What is Medical Back Therapy?
Medical Back Therapy is a recognized medical muscle-strengthening treatment performed using MedX equipment.
This equipment allows us to analyze back muscle strength and provide isolated strengthening of the deep spinal musculature, balancing it and improving mobility.
In most cases, a strong back is a pain-free back.
Back Pain: The 80/80/80 Rule

Back pain is a health issue that 80% of people experience at some point in their lives.

80% of these problems are due to weakness in the deep spinal muscles.

With our Medical Muscle-Strengthening Therapy, back pain is eliminated or significantly reduced in more than 80% of cases.
The Deconditioning and Recovery Cycle
Pain often triggers a process of physical deconditioning: activity levels decrease, muscle weakness develops, and instability increases, particularly in the spine. This vicious cycle not only perpetuates pain but can also intensify it over time.
Recovery requires active and progressive intervention. Through medical therapy and strength training, stability is restored, the body’s functional capacity improves, and the risk of reinjury is reduced. The goal is not just to provide pain relief, but to restore the body’s confidence and physical readiness needed to return to movement and sports safely.

Step by Step
1. Initial medical exam
Our medical team analyzes your clinical history, pain, and physical condition to design your personalized treatment plan.
2. Personalized adjustments and initial measurement
During the 1st session, we adjust all equipment and exercises in your treatment plan. We perform measurements of strength, range of motion, and pain levels to establish objective data. These are repeated at the midpoint and end of the treatment to monitor your progress.
3. Supervised 60-minute medical therapy sessions
During every session, you will be accompanied by a professional with specific training and extensive experience. You will strengthen the deep muscles of the back and other muscle groups; we will work on mobility and perform exercises specifically selected for you.
- Between 6 and 12 therapy sessions (or up to 18 in specific cases).
- 2 sessions per week.
- 60 minutes per session.
4. Midterm and final medical review
The physician monitors progress every 6 sessions (at the midpoint and the end). The final medical visit serves to objectively assess the success of the therapy and establish a training plan to maintain long-term results.
5. Personalized training
Once therapy is complete, we help you maintain and improve your results with our personalized training. We integrate strength, mobility, endurance, and functional exercises so you can keep progressing pain-free.
